The Opportunity
My client is currently seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant/Inventory Controller to join their new Melbourne based team. This position will be commencing out of a brand new, purpose built facility in Southbank
You will be required to have:

- Intermediate SAP skills
- Proven warehouse and distribution experience
- Organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
- The ability to communicate with key stakeholders in order to investigate and resolve issues
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse inventory levels
- Investigation of stock discrepancies
- Maintain stock levels
- Liaise with external and internal departments for all inventory matters
- Assist in planning cycle counting of stock and auditing compliance
- Schedule of daily work and monitor distribution
- Reporting of warehouse metrics to facilitate productivity improvements
- Light P/A duties to the Directors as needed
Minimum role requirement:
- Minimum of 1+ year experience in a similar role
- Highly organised with an ability to take on multiple tasks
- Advanced computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Team & KPI focussed
