As a small and friendly business experiencing exceptional growth, Purple Engineering is actively seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sales Manager with a background in Engineering.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Manager looking to step into a new challenge. As a dedicated inbound sales manager, your role will be to nurture existing and new client relationships and liaise with suppliers and vendors. Excellence in service and a solutions mindset of all incoming sales inquiriesManage current key account customers Develop an excellent understanding of the current product range Recommend and select products for customers based on their individual needs Communicate with customers in person, by phone and by email to understand their needs Collaborate with Managing Director and Estimators to understand customer requirements and provide sales support Create positive and lasting relationships with our vendors and suppliers Handle ad-hoc and general tasks, such as processing and recording sales, as neededProject Delivery

ABOUT YOU
Ideal skills
Have: +4 years of experience in a relevant area of sales Good mechanical and/or engineering aptitude or relevant industry experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsQuick thinking to provide creative solutions that address customers needs and concerns Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools Positive, can-do attitude Eagerness to learn and perform tasks exceptionally Current Drivers Licence
Ability to: Be highly organised and diligent yet able to problem-solve and think on your feet Be self-motivated and work autonomously Listen to customer needs, and deliver on their expectations Build strong relationships with customers based on trust and transparency
