A new and exciting opportunity has opened for a Social Media Producer to join the Seven team working on The Latest on a casual basis, Monday to Thursday nights.
Based in Martin Place and reporting to the Executive Producer of The Latest, you will work to drive the Social Media production and management of some of Australias biggest entertainment properties.
You will collaborate with internal teams to create engaging social content that supports our entertainment properties and builds engaged communities to drive awareness of The Latest. Create and organise content for a number of accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Produce engaging and striking assets and posts. Work with internal stakeholders and the wider team with promotional efforts including on-air competitions, and amplification of Talent accounts and activity. Regular moderation of relevant social properties, including comprehensive understanding of escalation protocols. Understand our target audiences and the latest trends in social media and how to optimize activity to deliver on reach and quality benchmarks
We are looking for someone who has: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Attention to detail; A strong knowledge of news and media; A strong knowledge of and proficiency with social media platforms and metrics; Proficiency with video and photo production tools; A strong initiative and willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency; An ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; A passion for social media, including latest social media developments, online behaviours and trends. Proven experience using social analytics tools and publishing and moderation platforms desired
