An opportunity is available to join a prestigious Government department known for its commitment to delivering quality public service. As a proactive department, they continuously strive to improve and enrich the lives of the community members through their broad spectrum of initiatives. Their ethos is centered around integrity, respect, and accountability. We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Advisor at the AS06 level to join this team on a temporary nine-month basis.
The duties of this role will include:
- Full review of the approved business case which includes options analysis and the project scoping
- Procurement and vendor assessment to select and engage a digital agency
- Management of relationship and contract with the vendor
- Internal stakeholder liaison
- User experience design, testing and WCAG
- SEO strategy and development
- All quality assurance activities including systena nd performance testing
- Working with the vendor on hosting infrastructure design and provisioning
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in a Senior Digital Project manager , preferably within a government setting
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with digital media and communications tools
- A current DHS WWC clearance
- Immediate availability to start work
- Experience navigating the complexities of a government communications role
- A strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
