Our Opportunity
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Project Manager for our Optus and minor work Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This role is based in Noble Park, Victoria. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:Promoting a positive and safe work cultureProviding visible and hands-on leadership, direction and guidance to project engineers, field managers and functional leads to resolve complex issues and competing priorities whilst ensuring contractual obligations are metManaging and motivating supervision and self-perform work crewsEngaging, mobilising and maintaining positive working relationships with subcontractorsManaging project risk, cost and schedule, executing construction programs to minimize cost ensuring they are in line with forecasted revenuesPreparing, monitoring and updating production plans and working to weekly and monthly programsManaging internal and external stakeholders including the client, construction partners, and the community.
How you'll connect to the role:Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, commerce/finance, business or another relevant fieldA proven track record in delivery of telecommunications infrastructure constructionExtensive experience in the successful management of large and geographically sparse delivery programsA practical understanding of civil and telecommunications construction, including fibre network construction through to integrationExperience managing and motivating construction project delivery teamsSolid understanding of applying quality requirements to ensure a "right first time" approach is embedded in the project teamA good understanding of construction planning and scheduling and the ability to drive commercial and operational outcomes from your teamsAlignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & LeadershipAdopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely Culture
