Exciting new role available due to business growth with Australia's leading media and publishing company Advert: The company/opportunity: You will be working for a Leading Publishing and Media Company that strives to be the leading creator of immersive content and experiences. You will be working for the market leader and representing some of the most loved and iconic magazine brands in Australia.Account Manager Role: The Agency Account Manager is accountable for delivering the territory budget (individual) and market share objectives for the designated sales portfolio and providing deep customer and media brand knowledge across both print and digital media. You will lead and maintain strong working relationships with customers, their teams and their agencies, ensuring high quality briefs and revenue opportunities to achieve sales revenue. You present advertising and promotional solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the agency/client, whilst appropriately representing each of the Brands included and regularly host client workshops.
Your new role
The Senior Account Manager is primarily responsible for the management of relationships with clients and is the main point of contact to co-ordinate the resources needed for advertising campaigns and projects, building strategic operational plans and balancing the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work. You will take the lead on the account ensuring that all possible commercial opportunities including content distribution are being pursued both internally and externally; initiating and being pro-active in new ideas/concepts. You will tailor opportunities for client portfolios in conjunction with the brand team and will present, negotiate and close solutions and ensure the budget target is achieved or exceeded.
Skills and experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role working with agencies
- Strong enthusiasm and business acumen, category and media industry knowledge.
- Able to extract high quality briefs, interpret briefs and write sales proposals.
- Highly focussed, results oriented and achieves targets and goals
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively negotiate with both internal and external groups
- Experience with key account management and execution and a demonstrable record of achievement within Sales.
