They are now looking for a pragmatist Enterprise Architect that can balance tactical and strategic needs of the business and can focus on providing a strategic direction within the geographic region(s) of responsibility for the business's Enterprise Architecture.
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Group IT Architecture, as an Enterprise Architect, you will engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and showcase the ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations. Leading and building the National architecture strategy in sync with the global architect plan, you will be accountable for but not limited to:
- Creating and maintaining of Enterprise Architecture strategies and roadmaps.
- Building trusted relationships with senior business and IT leaders in region.
- Understanding and advocating the Global IT strategy, standards and guiding principles selling them into the region(s) of responsibility.
- Contributing to and assisting in the preparation and maintenance of other elements of the business IT Architecture framework.
- Playing an active role in architecture review board meetings providing guidance and signing off in relation to technology choice and design decisions.
- Setting the Enterprise Architecture direction to IT projects and initiatives during feasibility and discovery phases for the region(s) of responsibility.
- Ensuring the regional enterprise architecture is coordinated and aligned with architecture and strategies developed by other areas of IT such as Security, Data Architecture, Operations etc.
The Successful Applicant
- Certified in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (i.e., TOGAF)
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms and processing environments
- Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends
- Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
- Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
- Experience of modern work management and documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, LucidChart
- Experience of Enterprise Architecture Repository and management tools
