The large private fund is known for their mortgage securities investments and debt financing towards commercial, residential, land and industrial properties. Being a private lender with long termed sophisticated borrowers, the company is known for providing tailored and personalised products, be able to handle and execute complex deals, and be able to provide opportunities for BD Managers to have more personal exposure to the mortgage broker market. The company is seeking candidates that would like to broaden their coverages in the mortgage broker clientele base and hone their business development skill set with guidance directly from the Head of Department.
Job Description
- As a Business Development/ BD Manager, you are expected to service existing mortgage brokers but also actively source, develop and grow new clientele, in particularly towards mortgage brokers (open for residential, commercial, business and construction);
- You are expected to maintain relationships with existing referral sources, and provide services to new sources and internal referrals;
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure clients' loan applications and solutions are met and delivered in a timely manner;
- Etc.
The Successful Applicant
- Must have financial services experience in client management, sales, relationship management or business development;
- Open to candidates with background in Mortgage Brokering, Banking, Lending Company, etc.;
- Candidate that can prove to have great communication and interpersonal skills, great determination, high level of resilience and eager for success;
- Be able to work independently but also work as a team;
- Currently hold, or undergoing, or be willing to undertake further studies for a Diploma or Tertiary Qualification in Financial Services, Business or equivalent for Compliance with ASIC RG 146.
