Join us as Product Sales Manager where you will be accountable for sales of products and solutions within the designated market of Power Protection (PP) in accordance with the strategy. Developing, implementing, and managing the account strategy. Identifying and developing sales opportunities. Building a long-term customer relationships and coordinate sales activities, monitoring current projects, managing resolution of specific customer needs and issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction in Electrification Business Area.
You will be reporting to Business Manager - Power Protection.
Your responsibilitiesUnderstanding the key business drivers, including the business risks of the relevant local Power Protection customers business and business environment and interpreting the impact and opportunity for ABBParticipating in the development of sales strategies for the accounts by providing the customers current business and long-term plans.Leading the development and implementation of the account SoW growth actions (for both direct sales and channel partner sales).Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of product/solution offering, and align to provide a solutionDefining and preparing sales plans for the accounts in conjunction with the business manager using company tools and ensures their achievement with a structured follow up process.Selling products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for the assigned Business Unit/Product Groups.Developing and executing a pipeline of high-quality opportunities and capturing and tracking them in SalesforceCreating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniquesPreparing and submitting monthly and quarterly sales forecast based on project pursuits and prospects for the power protection businessPreparing offers in coordination with the Business & Marketing Manager and with the support of tendering resourcesEnsuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of the offer, including prices and trading conditionsCollaborating with technical promotions team and executing those activities that require channel/segment partner participation and assisting and developing project opportunities, carrying out presentations to end users, developers, operators, industry groups and electrical consultants to ensure specifications, RFQs, ROIs etc favour ABBWorking with Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) in their request for customer feedback, products launch, market pricing as well as supporting promotional events, including with channel partnersMonitoring competitors activity and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implementedDriving application of standardized marketing & sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, AVLs etc.) for the accountsManaging administrative procedures in sales, processes, and supports collection and project management activities when neededIdentifying and driving development of new market opportunities for power protection business and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
Your backgroundMinimum 5 years experience in technical sales and business developmentExperience in critical power, secure power, power protection, Field Service experience is strongly desiredProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint), Salesforce.comDemonstrated negotiation and influencing skillsExtensive network with strong relationships with customer channels and in particular, with 3rd party influencing parties e.g. End Users, Consultants, and Builders / Developers within the critical power industry
