As a key player in this process, the Principal Commercial Analyst will be responsible for leading energy market modeling and providing strategic commercial advice to contribute to this client's objectives.
About The Role
As the Principal Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our client's Implementation Office. You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end energy market modeling and offering expert advice to key stakeholders. Your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, stakeholder management abilities, and service orientation will enable you to provide quality information in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on the Victorian energy market and regulatory policy to senior executives within the Implementation Office.
- Develop strategic commercial advice to support the achievement of our client's objectives.
- Cultivate strong relationships and exert influence over key stakeholders, including peer jurisdictions, energy market institutions, industry representatives, and consumer stakeholders.
- Lead qualitative and quantitative analysis of energy markets and undertake energy market modeling.
- Prepare and review various written communications, including reports, in a clear, appropriate, and unambiguous manner.
- Effectively communicate specialist information to diverse stakeholders.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of the operation of the Victorian and national energy markets.
- Experience working in a business environment that emphasizes performance excellence through data synthesis.
- Expertise in providing commercial advice for investment decisions.

- Relevant qualification in business, accounting, commercial, or finance.
