The Marke Kitchen and Bar is situated inside Novotel Sydney International Airport, located along the Cooks River, near the International airport. The Marke Bar and Restaurant is a 150 seater a la carte and buffet restaurant and Bar.
We are looking for the right person to join the team, someone who can move with the changing business and grow & develop with us, as the hotel welcomes back our corporate & leisure guests in the future.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualitiesCompleted Commercial Cookery Certificate III or equivalent.Ability to work in various sections of a kitchen including larder, ala carte, pastry, functions and breakfast.A true desire to work with people and create human connectionsUnderstanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCPFlexible approach in adapting to guest requests.The ability to prepare and present menu items showing variety and flair.

Parental Leave
As staff member, you will receive 10 weeks paid parental leave at full salary for primary carer in addition to government-funded parental leave. Part-time and casual equivalent available on a pro-rata basis. In addition, Continuation of superannuation payments while on paid parental leave will remain.
