We are looking for:Trade qualifications in Commercial CookeryMust have worked in à la carte restaurantsMust have fine Dining and Hotel experienceMust have experience in banqueting and high-volume eventsAbility to work various shifts subject to roster requirements -Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.Immediate start for the successful applicant Ability to maintain high standards under pressureAbility to work autonomously Positive attitude and team playerProvide support to the kitchen and other chefsEnsure consistent great food productionExcellent time management Ability to work as a part of a team with excellent communication skillsCorrect workplace health and safety proceduresYou must have FULL working rights in Australia
The Role will involve:Preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with food and service standardsPreparation of Menu items and banquetingEnsure the kitchen is kept to a high standard by providing a clean, hygienic environment for the preparation and delivery of mealsResponsible for checking purchase orders and deliveriesResponsible for stock control and rotationPromote a safe, secure environment for staff and patronsSupervision of kitchen operations in absence of Executive ChefWorking across all outlets
