Job Description
I-MED is pleased to be offering a new opportunity for a suitably qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the team on a full-time basis. The position will be based at our clinic in Miranda. Recent graduate Nuclear Medicine Technologists are encouraged to apply. It is a perfect opportunity for you to expand your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
· Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
· Providing exceptional patient care and communicating effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel
· Employing excellent organisational and time management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
What we're looking for:
· Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing
· Experience with GE SPECT CT and PET CT would be preferred but not essential
· Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
· PET / CT training will be provided onsite
· Applicants must be AHPRA registered and hold a current NSW Radiation Use License

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
I-MED has a policy which requires all I-MED staff to be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 unless they have a valid medical exemption. Under our policy boosters are due by 15th April 2022 or within a month of your eligibility under the ATAGI guidelines, however each state Public Health Order may define this date as earlier and this will be discussed during the interview process. The successful candidate for this role will be required to comply with I-MED's policy and any applicable Government public health orders. During our interview process, we will be asking you to please confirm your ability to meet the above-mentioned requirements of the role.
