As the Partnership Coordinator, you will play a significant role contributing to the Drought Resilience Mission hosted by the Agriculture and Food business unit.
You will be responsible for a range of matters that have a meaningful outcome! These include implementation of strategic plans to deliver on the Mission's goal to reduce the impacts of future droughts. This role will see you ensuring the governance arrangements for Missions are followed and to facilitate the development of other partnering opportunities that will help deliver on the goal. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of the monitoring and evaluation activities in the Mission; coordinate and monitor internally funded projects and activities; build networks and represent the Mission to various external and internal audiences. Your duties will include: Building networks with key internal and external stakeholders and act as the main point of contact for Mission activities. Providing support as well as managing the governance processes of the Mission including internal steering committee, external advisory group and Missions office reporting. Monitoring and managing calls for internal and external projects and activities. Coordinating the development of materials for communication activities internally and externally to facilitate meeting the Mission's objectives. Representing the Mission as required in a range of forums and engagements, including both technical and non-technical. Liaising with and influencing related professionals to develop practices which support the Mission.
Location: CSIRO Sites in Canberra and Brisbane preferred
Salary: AU $105,806 - $114,500 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Specified term of 3 years. Part-time hours will be considered
Reference: 90808 To be considered you will need: Bachelor's degree or experience in managing science and innovation projects. A demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives within a large and complex organisation, and present findings influentially to decision makers. Proven project management, decision making and problem-solving skills, including the ability to produce rapid results and remain composed under pressure. Sound judgement and a proven ability to think and act strategically. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to formulate and prepare a wide range of communications and present to a variety of audiences. Proven high level interpersonal, negotiation and representative skills, including experience working effectively within and across diverse teams and building successful relationships with a range of stakeholders.
