ExperienceKnowledge of disability, learning difficulties, sensory processing difficulties and child development.Experience with developmental delays and disorders, Autistic children, ADHD, Genetic Conditions, Intellectual Disability, DCD, Dysgraphia is desirable but not essential.
Essential CriteriaBachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent tertiary qualification.Registration with the Occupational Therapy Registration Board (A.H.P.R.A.).Current Working With Children Check.Current drivers license and reliable insured car.
Key Selection CriteriaPassionate about guiding children with differing abilities to be their very best selves.Committed to learning and implementing new skills and reflection on their effectiveness.Competent with desk and portable technology including practice management software and cloud-based admin systems or willingness to learn.Ability to organise self, clients, appointments and tasks quickly and effectively.Strong verbal and written communicator.Capable of working alone and as a valued team member.
