The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Tax Return Preparer to assist our Same Day Tax Refunds (SDTR) team in our Devonport office.
This is an ongoing casual position commencing from late June with flexible hours working options available.
You will have the opportunity to join our busy, high performing team who are well supported by experienced staff and managers.
You will be reporting to the SDTR Office Manager and responsibilities will include:
Acting as the primary preparer of personal Income Tax Returns.
Maintaining compliance with internal and external regulative bodies adhering to Tax Agent requirements.
Guiding clients through their tax returns using expertise and a keen eye for detail, in order to legitimately minimise tax positions (and maximise refunds).
Key Skills
To be considered for this position, you will have previous experience within in a similar role, as a bookkeeper, or accounting professional.
You will possess excellent communication and customer service skills and are familiar with working with a diverse range of clients.
You will have the ability to work both unsupervised and with-in a team, to achieve the best outcome for the client.
Remuneration is per return. Training will be provided upon commencement.
