This is an opportunity to work for the Federal Government within an established Government initiative whose focus is to assist the community and disability sector. On offer is a long-term contract that will build your exposure and career in a prominent Federal Government Agency.
The team
In this role you will be part of a team responsible for reviewing and delivering continuous improvements regarding the consistency and quality of operational activities. The team identify and share key trends and utilise quality management frameworks to deliver continuous improvements to standards, procedures and practices associated with resolving matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
In this role you will undertake procedural, clerical and administrative tasks including but not limited to
...
- Undertaking analysis, research and interpretation of information referring back to the departments policies and procedures to make decisions
- Responding to and implementing complex information requests
- Conducting quality assurance and quality control activities in relation to AAT Case Management processes and decision making.
- Assisting in developing and implementing improvement strategies for delivering branch goals and strategic objectives.
- Contributing to a range of improvement activities, including policy development, and training activities for staff.
- Supporting the delivery of a range of different Quality projects, for informing and improving Case Management practice.
- Correspondence management via email and telephone
- Maintain program data bases and tracking systems through data analysis and reporting.
- Any other ad hoc administrative support, Data entry, coordination and record keeping
What will you need to be successful in this role
As this role will be working within a Federal Department, it is essential that you:
- Are an Australian Citizen
- have the ability to obtain and pass a Police Check
- Have previous administration and case management experience in the Federal or State government
- Availability to work full-time hours Monday - Friday on a long term basis
Have the ability to use computer/software applications including but not limited Microsoft Office and CRM
The ideal candidate for this role will be professional, confident and have demonstrated experience in the following areas
- Decision-making and finding outcomes
- Maintaining effectiveness when experience major changes in work responsibilities or environment
- Prior experience in case management, quality assurance and/or auditing
- Management of confidential, sensitive information and conflicting priorities
- Strong ability to meet and exceed internal or external customer expectations
- Data entry skills with the ability to quickly and accurately enter data into systems
- High attention to detail across various administrative tasks
- The ability to engage with diverse audiences and stakeholders
- High performance working in both autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
