These are casual roles which require high availability during normal business hours as well as occasional after hours, weekend work and opportunities for interstate travel.
These roles are primarily focussed around supporting IT relocation for Federal Government Departments. This includes desktop end user equipment imagining, deployments, relocations and decommissions.
We are looking for people with a passion and experience in IT or those with a genuine interest in starting their career in IT. You will be part of a team of like-minded individuals delivering professional service and support to Federal Government based clients. Field work will require you to have effective communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to adapt to different situations and a high level of work ethic to meet client requirements. On-the-job training will be provided with opportunities to further your learning ongoing.
Key responsibilitiesImaging, deployment and relocation of desktops, laptops, monitors and other end user computing devicesPhysical handling of all IT related equipment for installation, connection, deployment, relocation and disposal will be required.Facilitation of secure delivery and disposal of end user computing devices under guidance as requiredFollow processes to document, build and configure devicesPerform troubleshooting and resolution of issues both during build process and post deployment under instruction of team leadSupport the decommission and removal of all end user computing devices as requiredProvide support to Server Engineers and other technical resources under their guidance
