To support our projects with our customers in Australia, we are currently expanding our activity and we are looking for several Design & Release engineers starting in April 2023.
Job Description
- Design & Release Engineer for Electrical or Mechanical Components for 3+ years: Cabin, Structural, HVAC, Power and Communication, .
- Expert in Catia V5/V6 for:
- Solid & Surface modelling and analysis for castings, forgings, stampings, wiring/piping
- Catia FEA or similar
- Creating high level drawings with correct tolerance, GD&T + 1st time out quality
- Ability to work independently when given tasks
- Plan and create schedule for multi-tasks.
- Calculate requirements through Excel interface for strength, durability, impact and fastener torque and clamp load calculations.
- Work and communicate well with other groups, hold meetings with suppliers, factory and service members.
- Able to go to the actual place to see a failure and conceptualize how to solve the issue w/o waiting for detailed instructions.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements:
- 3-5 years + of Mechanical or Electrical engineering experience
- Experience in one of this area:
- Requirement management
- HIL testing
- System integration
- System V&V
- Communication system
- Infotainment
- Power Supply
- Wiring Design
- Vehicle Testing
- Structural design
- Package and Cabinet
- HVAC System
- Experience with CAD software: (Siemens NX)
- High capacity to adapt
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of KPI's and compliance assessments
Nice to have:
- Experience in Automotive, Railway (light train or freight) or Naval (Civil or Military) would be preferred
- Experience with some of the following tools: IBM Doors, JIRA
- Demonstrate product compliance assessments against Australian Standards
