About The Role:

We are looking to employ a diligent and reliable site based industrial/maintenance electrician to work alongside our skilled electricians to support our clients in the mining sector. Reporting to site supervisors, youll be a hands-on self-starter who leads by example with integrity, high-quality work and enjoys diversity, from large scale projects to service maintenance and shift coverage. You might be installing lighting, power or switchboards, or executing maintenance workorders. Or you might be testing and commissioning your own installations, or completing safety, environmental and quality site requirements using our online platform. You will never be bored and youll be continuously increasing your electrical knowledge. There is some flexibility of shift time, depending on where you are working, and there are plenty of extra days available, if desired. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who have excelled in the past and are looking for a significant role with a highly respected company.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Require:
Current Queensland electrical licence.Current Queensland Drivers Licence.LVR/CPR Certificate.Standard 11 Mining Induction (or willing to obtain).Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain).A track record in delivering safe outcomes, on-time and on-budget.Good communication skills and demonstrated success in developing and maintaining good relationships with past colleagues, clients and stakeholders.Working at Height Competency (preferred but not essential).Confined Space Competency (preferred but not essential).Hazardous Area Competency (preferred but not essential).A past history demonstrating honesty and reliability and a demonstrated commitment to continual improvement and learning.This is a DIDO position.
