Senior Client Service Officer - Crimes ConfiscationWe are looking for keen and motivated Senior Client Service Officer to join the Crimes Confiscation team and help make a difference to our customers. Full-time, temporary role (6 months with possible extension) 35 hours per weekLocation: ParramattaFlexible working options available and subject to negotiationClerk Grade 5/6. About the team
The Estate Planning & Administration division is responsible for delivering NSW Trustee & Guardians commercial services in will making, as trustee, attorney, and as administrator/executor of deceased estates. The team administer assets in accordance with the functions and obligations under the relevant legislation and make legal decisions within legal frameworks and NSWTGs prescribed delegations. The division delivers high quality service using a customer-centred approach and is delivered by: Estate Administration Trust and Powers of Attorney administration Intestate, Life Estates and Crime Confiscation/Civil Forfeiture administration Wills and Estate Planning
About the role
This role is responsible for delivering professional, high quality and timely Crimes Confiscation / Civil Forfeiture services. You will be responsible for the management of restrained / forfeited assets and appropriately managing those assets in accordance with the functions and obligations under the relevant legislation. The role ensures assets are collected or secured in a timely matter and their ongoing management and / or sale, and is responsible for contributing to establish efficiencies, performance of the team and achieving financial targets.

About you
Application is encouraged if: You have experience in delivering professional, high-quality timely Crimes Confiscation / Civil Forfeiture services.You have the knowledge to provide advice, support and guidance to staff and manage complex matters and resolve issues, including assisting to respond to complaints and ministerial enquiries.You have experience conducting field audit inspections to perform reconciliation of all physical assets to ensure assets are properly maintained during storage period to avoid deterioration and loss in value.You have the ability to collaborate across divisions and with other government partners, in particular the NSW Crimes Commission, the NSW Police Force and NSW Treasury to continuously improve service.You have strong customer centred values that drive continuous improvement and integrated service delivery.

Essential RequirementsKnowledge and understanding of relevant legislation or demonstrated ability to gain knowledge and understanding in this area.Understanding of NSW government and NSWTGs key services and client base.Current NSW drivers licence and ability to travel across NSW to perform offsite field audits and reconciliation of assets under NSW Trustee & Guardians management.Willingness to have phone calls and team email accounts monitored for quality assurance and training purposes, and to participate in one-to-one review sessions for calls and emails.Up to date COVID-19 vaccination status and able to provide acceptable proof.
