About the Opportunity
The Research, Specialised & Data Foundations team is an integral part of Digital Solutions. The team is a value driven strategic partner to the research domain, where they deliver on the digital initiatives required to support the domains research and innovation strategy.
As the Project Coordinator within the Research, Specialised & Data Foundations domain, you will work across multiple projects that underpins the Universities strategic plan (2020-2025). Within the domains strategic delivery team, you will provide key support to the entire portfolio, which consist of Research, Data & Information Management.
The project coordinator will be responsible for undertaking a range of project administration and governance activities under the direction of the Strategic Delivery Manager (SDM) and Senior Project Managers.
Key Duties
- Coordinating project activities
- Secretariat for various project governance meetings
- Data collation and preparation for SDM reporting and ad hoc project reports
- Scheduling stakeholder meetings and workshops, assisting with requirement gathering, stakeholder management and change and communications activities
- Assist in procurement processes, specifically coordination of the evaluation panel and the evaluation criteria matrix
- Supporting project activities in an agile Scrum environment
- Assist with the maintenance of project backlogs and sprint management
About You
You will enjoy working with a variety of project managers, technical staff and change managers within the RSDF team as well as stakeholders from various other areas of the university. You are flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to digest and make sense of complex information quickly.
- Demonstrated IT project management/coordination experience in an Agile delivery environment
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively and liaise with multiple stakeholders and senior management
- Competent in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, MS Project Online and Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Shows initiative and demonstrate a willingness to learn
