Job Description
- Lead and manage the day to day work of the HR Department, ensuring the team's work is completed well and within agreed service levels.
- Advise managers on employment law, HR policies, trade union and/or collective bargaining agreements and employee relations matters.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with managers and others to improve work relationships, build morale, drive engagement and increase productivity and retention.
- Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., career development, disciplinary actions).
- Manage local recruitment campaigns to support identification and selection of highly capable talent
- Cooperate with Payroll to ensure proper and timely execution of pay
- Successfully execute HR initiatives developed by HR Operations and HR Centre of Expertise

The Successful Applicant
Experience:Further/higher education in human resources or business discipline, with 5-8 years prior experience in HR roleExperience working within a manufacturing organisation would be advantageous.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to exercise good judgement. A team player with a professional and flexible approach to work. Innovative thinking with a passion to make a difference within the HR team and wider business. Knowledge:A solid understanding of current employment law and HR best practice.
