Job Description
Conduct risk assessments on new processes, facilities, and materials and develop SWMS's for all high risk activities.
Provide leadership and direction for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a health and safety management system that ensures compliance with local regulatory requirements.
Develop Health & Safety training, plans and programs and seek for continuous improvement.
Implement a program that mitigates illness and injury risks and meets local regulatory requirements; including support for return to work programs and injury management.
Engage and influence key stakeholders within the business to drive a Health & Safety culture.
The Successful Applicant
Experience in automotive manufacturing or another manufacturing industry.
Experience in capability and leadership to influence positive health and safety outcomes.
Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety regulatory requirements.
You have the capability to document and implement Health & Safety plans, processes and programs.
