Job Description
- Responding to telephone calls and support tickets from staff.
- Resolving technical issues with web, desktop, and mobile applications and hardware devices.
- Configuring and deploying desktop and mobile devices and maintaining asset registers.
- Training staff on the use of web, desktop, and mobile applications and hardware devices.
- Managing the desktop standard operating environment (SOE).
- Administering user accounts, including setup, terminations, and changes.
- Conducting real-time monitoring and helping troubleshoot issues with IT systems.
- Supporting the Incident Response Team, informing the teams when problems occur, change severity, or are resolved.
- Assisting with the development, implementation, and management of security policies, practices, and technologies.
- Automating repetitive tasks.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this position, you should have completed or be working towards CompTIA or Microsoft Certification, and have previous IT Service Desk experience. Other desirable qualifications and experience include System Administrator Experience, Microsoft Windows server training, and programming/scripting skills. Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, time management, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
