We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Maintenance Manager Cat C to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team.
About the role
This role will provide supervision and team leadership to ensure maintenance is performed and completed. You will plan, organise, direct and control one or more maintenance teams and activities throughout the execution of maintenance and General Aviation Tasks (GAT), ensuring aircraft are airworthy in accordance with prescribed aviation standards.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Execution of the daily maintenance programme in order to meet key objectives as per the AMPIdentifying maintenance team composition and authorisation requirementsAssessing environmental, human and operational factors that may pose an impact during the execution of the maintenance or GAT Communicating maintenance or GAT requirements to Task SupervisorsMonitoring the progression of maintenance tasks and associated activitiesIdentifying outstanding maintenance requirements and ensuring all follow-on maintenance requirements have been identified and documented Ensuring aviation reporting requirements are being met in accordance with AFCAMAN, Book III, Chapter 6 Performing aircraft and component continuing airworthiness administrative management functions
About you
As a strong communicator, with leadership tendencies and personal drive, you will enjoy completing tasks to fruition and motivating the team. You will also hold a Certificate IV or above in Aeroskills - Avionics, Mechanical from a recognised institution.
To be successful in this role you will also have:Significant demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance management Hold a Category C MAML on ADF Rotary Wing AircraftDemonstrated understanding of Human Factors and Human Resource ManagementSignificant knowledge and understanding of the requirements of one or more of the following regulatory frameworks: DASA Significant demonstrated experience working on helicopters and/or componentsIntermediate skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications
Special requirements
Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-in statable NV1 Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to gain this.
The location of the role will be at Holsworthy, NSW.
