Job summary
The Graphic Design and Print Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of EES's printing process, including managing deadlines, ensuring quality control, and maintaining effective communication with clients and internal teams. The successful candidate will have experience in graphic design and/or the printing industry and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Manage the production of all printed materials, including coordinating with suppliers, obtaining quotes, and selecting the appropriate printing methods for exhibition printing and brand activations.
Ensure all printing projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their requirements and provide guidance on printing options
Conduct quality control checks on all printed materials to ensure they meet the required standards
Maintain accurate records of all printing jobs, including specifications, costs, and timelines
Develop and maintain relationships with printing vendors to ensure the best possible pricing and service
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide recommendations for new printing technologies and methods
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process, and implement corrective actions as necessary
Work closely with the sales team to develop content for social media, digital marketing and eDM's
Manage photo shoot programs for exhibitions, events and product catalogues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, printing management, or a related field or in last year of completion
At least 2 years of experience in print production, with knowledge of printing processes, materials, and creating and managing artwork proofs
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and quality control, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
