Are you an experienced Rehabilitation Case Manager or WHS professional? ...
You will become an integral part of the Workplace Health, Safety and Support Team which provides leadership, advice and support in health case management, including injury prevention and management, early intervention, rehabilitation, workplace adjustments and support for employees with a disability.
Responsible for undertaking a range of procedural, operational and administrative activities with the human resources environment, you will provide efficient, accurate advice and assistance to employees of the Agency with work and non-work related injuries to return to work.
Key accountabilities include:
- Providing sound advice to clients and stakeholders regarding Early Intervention, Compensation and related HR issues
- Interpreting and applying legislation, policy, agreements and guidelines to recommend solutions to address Early Intervention and Case Management Issues
- Initiating, coordinating and monitoring all injured or ill employees workplace rehabilitation programs
- Connecting and coordinating people involved in the return to work process
- Maintaining appropriate records and ensuring relevant workers compensation forms are completed
- Ensuring the Agency complies with all Guidelines for Rehabilitation Authorities Instrument 2019
Ideally you will possess:
- Proven experience in Rehabilitation Case Management or a Work Health and Safety discipline (essential)
- Experience in specialist areas including illness/injury and return to work, workplace adjustments, policy interpretation, and disability workplace assessments
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills and an ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels within the Agency
- Well developed policy writing and interpretation skills
