Reporting directly to the Area Manager and supported by an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and developing a strong sales team and driving overall store performance for our David Jones, Adelaide location.Provide leadership to the store team including recruitment, coaching, training and performance managementManage completion of daily and weekly operational tasks and activitiesDrive sales performance both individual and storeDeliver genuine customer service experience for all customers in line with company values and expectationsContinue to identify ways to grow the customer database and increase client retentionAct as a brand ambassador and lead by exampleEnsure effective two way communication to ensure team members are engaged and knowledgeableEnsure store merchandising standards are adhered to including visual merchandising expectationsManaging stock to reduce shrinkage and optimise sales
YOUR PROFILELeadership and people management experienceFluent in Mandarin preferred Demonstrated ability to positively influence sales and profit resultsFamiliarity with KPI's and how to drive these for ongoing successA genuine love for the fashion industry and enthusiasm to share your styling expertiseKnowledge and ability to roster teams to optimise productivityUnderstanding of profit and loss and the factors that can be influenced at store management levelEffective communication skills with the ability to adapt style depending on the audience and situation
