About the role:
The People and Culture (P&C) Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of people & culture strategies in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company. Under the guidance of the P&C Manager provide P&C advice, information, guidance and support to employees and managers to ensure all requirements are met under relevant employment agreements and policies.
What you will be doing: Support a working environment where people feel engaged, rewarded and valued.Provide timely, accurate and appropriate advice to managers and employees in relation to people and culture and industrial relations issues.Work closely with the P&C Manager to support the development of people-centred strategies and policies that assist the company in achieving its vision-related strategic objectives.Work closely with the P&C Manager to support the successful implementation and continuous improvement of the Kinetic Way, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and controls are in place to manage risk. Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation.Assist with compiling relevant information for P&C reports for various stakeholdersUnder the guidance of the P&C Manager, engage in effective case management of people related issues such as: disciplinary, performance management, grievance, and absence management.Assist in the investigation of workplace incidentsAssist in the mediation of workplace issues
Some of the skills/experience you may bring:Certificate in Human Resources or related discipline would be beneficial.Significant experience in managing outcomes for grievance, dispute and performance management related mattersExperience in the interpretation and application of Award, industrial and employment legislationDemonstrated ability to build strong, credible relationships and influence, persuade or negotiate outcomes that add value to the organisationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong numerical analytical skillsSelf-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations and positive approach to a continual changing work environment.Strong computer literacy, MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
