Randstad are pleased to be partnering with our client who are experiencing an exciting period of growth due to acquisitions. They are a multi-location Queensland business with a growing headcount and an appetite to continue expanding.
This role will be based in their head office in Brisbanes inner suburbs with occasional travel to sites required to provide training and support with systems at their new locations.

About the role:
Reporting into the Financial Controller and working in a team of 2, the Payroll Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day payroll operations along with the leadership of a Payroll Officer. This role will involve both people management while also still being hands on with payroll processing. Your key duties will include:
- Weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs for 800 employees
- Processing new starters, terminations, redundancies, leave calculations, superannuation, etc.
- End of month and end of year reporting
- Reviewing current processes and procedures and identifying areas for improvement
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Payroll Officer
About you:
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role
- Exceptional communication skills
- True end-to-end processing experience
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
