The Senior Report Writer Resource will perform enhancements to existing reports and create new reports for the department's system. These reports are developed using Microsofts SQL Server Reporting Services software (SSRS).
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Report Writer in a large software development environment demonstrating:
- Development and delivery of solutions built on Microsoft's Reporting Services and SQL (including Stored Procedures) for SQL Server (version 2012 or later);
- Technical quality oversight ensuring alignment to solution vision, enterprise standards, relevant policies, risk analysis;
- Development of reports in both an Agile and Waterfall environment; and
- Capability in PowerBI (optional but preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in aligning functional and technical requirements to produce high quality software solutions.
- Considerable knowledge of and experience in all phases of the Software Development lifecycle, including comprehensive knowledge of build processes and testing methodologies.
