We are currently working with several local government authorities across South Australia who are seeking skilled Traffic engineers to assist their engineering teams on a contract basis. The positions would suit those who are immediately available and open to contract work which has the opportunity for extension. ...
The positions:
These positions would involve the following key tasks:
- Assisting with investigations into traffic and parking, developing solutions within the scope of delegated authority
- Providing specialist advice to the public, other departments within Council, Elected Members, other Councils and Government Departments in relation to traffic management.
- Providing engineering support for the planning/preparing of councils Traffic Control Devices Capital Works program
- Supporting projects on various engineering infrastructure projects, consultations, investigations and audits.
In order to be considered for these positions, you will require the following skills and experience:
- Work zone Traffic Management Desirable
- Degree in Engineering or related field - Essential
- Class C Drivers license
- Traffic Engineering experience
