The successful candidate will provide administrative support to operational teams in the delivery of work activities safely and ensure compliance as per the companies health, safety & environmental management system and support the develop of industry best practice health, safety & environmental initiatives. You will work collaboratively with staff (and clients) and support them to get the job done as safely as possible.
The business is going through a strong period of growth with a large amount of work currently being undertaken which makes this a very exciting time to be joining the company. This will suit someone who has a genuine passion for safety and wants to play a role in helping develop a culture of HSEQ accountability, ownership, awareness and leadership across the business.
As the HSE Administrator you will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of the HSE Management System software (Rapid Global)
- Management and processing of training certificates (within Rapid Global)
- Supporting document control processes relating to the HSE Management System
- Preparation of HSE presentation material and periodical reports
- Collection of HSE data and statistics for HSE reporting
- Supporting the HSE and Compliance team to comply with all company policies and procedures
- Ad-hoc HSE administration duties
- Generally, assist the HSEQ Manager as and when required around HSE matters.
Key requirements or experience:
- Relevant Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or WHS
- White Card, current and valid Drivers Licence
- A dedicated and committed approach to a Safety First culture
- Ability to function unsupervised, working to tight deadlines
- Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Great attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills
- The willingness to be routinely visible on site
