Are you a qualified tradesperson with vehicle building experience? Brisbane City Council (Fleet Solutions at Wacol) is currently growing their team and is seeking a qualified individual with a suitable attitude.
About the role

The successful candidate will be tasked with working on the repair, manufacture and maintenance of a fleet of Brisbane City Council coaches/buses. The successful candidate will be tasked with:
- Structural/Body Maintenance
- Painting and general refurbishment
- Working closely with trade assistants and apprentices
- Modifying of Heavy Vehicles and Buses
- Fabricatation and welding tasks
- Assembly according to technical specifications
- Maintaining a safe working area at all times
Key Requirements
A strong sense of teamwork with an interest in ensuring projects are completed to a high standard. A commitment to safety and ensuring all machinery and operations are conducted according to and guidelines.
- Bus or Coach bodybuilding experience (essential)
- Relevant Cert III Trade Certificate (essential)
- Ability to apply initiative when working unsupervised
