Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process
- Invoice processing, coding, and matching with purchase orders
- Conduct thorough reviews of invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Perform reconciliations of vendor statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve any payment-related issues or inquiries
- Participate in month-end close processes, including accruals and journal entries
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounts payable function
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer in a high-volume and complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, principles, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex payment issues.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
