Located in the inner-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, this role is working with a property insurance provider who are passionate about supporting their people to grow and develop within the industry. Your New Role
This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to work in a permanent administrative position with a fantastic company and company culture. As an Administrative Assistant, you will assist the company with a range of administration tasks as well as ad hoc tasks when required.
This is a full time permanent position. This is not a customer-facing role.
For the initial training and probation period (3-6 months) you will be required to work in the office five days a week based in Hawthorn East.
How you will contribute

- Preparation of renewals spreadsheet and processing of renewals in both hard and soft copy
- Issue notices to customers
- Monitor and respond to inbox and register
- Process banking documentation and receipts
- Conduct accurate data entry and with attention to detail
- Maintain and monitor company supplies e.g. stationary
- Exhibit strong time management skills
- Display a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to assist others
What you will bring to the team
- Ability to work efficiently within an administrative environment
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Excel and Outlook is desirable
Training and Induction
- Training will be conducted over your first 3 months on the job
- You will be expected to have some familiarity with Excel and Outlook
