This role really needs someone who can motivate and lead a team of educators within the 4-5 Kindergarten room, an individual who is able to encourage and develop child led experiences, build positive relationships with the children and families and continually strive to exceed quality standards. You will also have the opportunity to work with the 3 year old kinder teacher to share ideas and work collaboratively with.
The Kinder program caters for up to 30 children per day, with a dedicated and experienced educator to support. A set shift is offered for the teacher to implement the program in those key hours. This service has a play based philosophy, inspired by Reggio Emilia. This role can be 4 or 5 days per week depending on the candidates preferences.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent
- Relevant VIT card
- Current First Aid or willing to obtain
- CPR , Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- a genuine enthusiasm, passion and dedication to fostering lifelong learners
