WOW Recruitment have an incredible opportunity for a Procurement Manager in South Strathfield. Our client is one of the worlds leading suppliers of graphic design and marketing collateral with a presence in over 20 different countries.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Empower and mentor our local operational procurement team to achieve their potentialWork closely with the local country manager to ensure personnel development needs are identified and metLead by example in driving cost-saving initiatives and contribute proactively to strategic procurement activitiesStreamline and optimise procurement processes and tools to increase efficiency and improve the daily businessMeet or exceed agreed KPIs and develop strategies for continuous improvementMaintain excellent communication with all procurement stakeholders, both internal and externalTake responsibility for material master data to ensure accuracy and completenessProvide ongoing support and updates to the master data teamKeep track of supplier information to ensure that data is up to date and accuratePrepare regular reports on local procurement KPIs and present to the head of operational procurementFoster positive relationships with cross-functional teams such as IT, supply chain/logistics, category management, business managers, marketing, business development, finance, strategic procurement and suppliers.
ABOUT YOU
As our Procurement Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our local and global suppliers.We are looking for a candidate who not only has a bachelors degree in business or a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience but also possesses exceptional intercultural communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Your experience in operational procurement processes will be invaluable, and we are looking for someone with good escalation skills to manage any issues that may arise.With your strong ability to plan for the future, you will help maximise our efficiency and ensure we are always one step ahead in meeting our procurement needs.
