Randstad has partnered with a multinational industry-leader in search for an Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial operations.
Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine bookkeeping tasks, including timely completion of invoices, payments, sales receipts, and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with accounts and bank reconciliation.
- Aid in the preparation of regular payments and verification of financial records.
- Prepare accounting documentation and assist in the creation of financial statements.
- Collaborate in the end-of-month and end-of-year processes.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual financial budget and monthly forecasts.
- Work closely with departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Support the implementation of best practice control processes and reporting automation.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Handle other reporting, analysis, and finance-related administrative duties as required.
Skills Required:
- Certificate IV in Accounting (Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting or assistant accountant experience in a medium-sized business.
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Positive and proactive 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong time management skills.
- Approachable and professional in dealings with internal and external parties.
