The Opportunity
A 12 month contract in a small, friendly and inclusive team within Robina Hospital to ensure timely and efficient mail delivery/collection. Due to the nature of the role a lot of walking is required (some team members complete approximately 14,000 steps per shift)
Responsibilities will include:

- Delivering and collecting mail across the hospital from all departments
- Tallying mail in and out and keeping an accurate record
- Effective distribution of correspondence/mail within a pigeon hole system
Hours of work for this role are Monday-Friday 9.30am - 1.30pm
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
About the Team
We are looking for someone living with a disability to join a supportive Administration Services team which provides efficient delivery and collection of both internal and external mail for the hospital. This role supports all departments within the hospital and interacts with many stakeholders as you are delivering and collecting mail. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
About you
- Physically fit and able to spend all shifts on your feet walking
- Accurate data entry skills
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 (Health Employment Directive No. 12/21 and Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70). This includes receiving the prescribed subsequent dose/s of a COVID-19 vaccination (i.e. booster), as may be approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI).
