Our client is a global leader in heavy equipment distribution for the construction and mining industry, including new and used sales, fleet hire plus specialist service & repairs. Due to internal growth, we are looking for 2 Field Service technicians to join their Newcastle based team.

Successful applicants will enjoy a consistent Monday - Friday roster with no callouts, a vehicle with fuel card to take home and progression and upskilling opportunities. If youre a heavy vehicle or plant mechanic looking for your next opportunity, then we want to hear from you!

What's involved?

- Routine maintenance and repair calls to clients across the Hunter and greater NSW region
- Servicing engines, transmissions and hydraulics components from small to heavy industry machines, including excavators, loaders, rollers, screens & crushers
- Ensuring minimum downtime for clients with a timely response
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships
- Providing high end solutions with computerized diagnostic systems

What are we looking for?

- Trade Qualified Diesel or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- MR License highly regarded but not essential
- Willing and able to work 1-2 nights away from home every week
- Experience with Hydraulics, Pneumatics and heavy machinery highly regarded
- Able to work independently as well as being part of a team
- Good, clear communication skills
