Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Director, responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparation and analysis of management reports.
- Overseeing accounts payable and receivable staff and ensuring deadlines are met.
- All Finance activities up to and including Trial Balance.
- Assist in preparation of BAS, FBT, Income tax, PAYG and ASIC statutory requirement.
- Support in managing and utilising the company ERP software to it's maximum efficiency.
- Provide support to the Finance Manager to assist in meeting deadlines.
- Communicating with debtors and creditors when required.
- Manage the financial documentation process for the business.
- Ad hoc financial project work.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate is a strong communicator and can partner with a range of people, from financial stakeholders to operational staff. They also have:
- Tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-2 year's experience in a Junior or Graduate Accounting role.
- Studying towards CPA or CA qualification beneficial.
- Experience with an ERP Accounting software highly advantageous.
