job detailsOur client is a Global Leader in Mining Equipment Manufacturing and is a respected brand in the local market. We are looking for an Electrical Field Service Technician to support their continued growth in Underground Development Mining operations.
Your role will involve ensuring that these mining systems operate at their peak performance, prioritizing safety, reliability, and productivity. If youre a specialist in Underground Development mining equipment, or a Qualified Electrician that is familiar and looking for a new challenge, then we want to hear from you!
Whats Involved?
- On site underground technical support, with an emphasis on planned electrical preventative maintenance
- Ensuring maximum safety, productivity and reliability of mining equipment for the customer
- Work away from home Monday - Friday with accommodation provided in the Hunter and parts of regional NSW
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues if needed
- Documenting service activities, commissioning plans, new product field trials and any data from breakdowns / reliability issues
- Engaging with customers to offer solutions
What were looking for:
- Electrical Trade Qualification and Electrical Licence
- Experience working with underground mining equipment
- Preferred experience in a field based service role
- Willing and able to be away from home Monday - Friday
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Able to work in an autonomous role.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
What we can offer you:
- Full time, permanent position
- Up to $137K Salary + Super
- Fully maintained service vehicle + fuel to take home
- Overtime paid after 8 hours / shift
- $5K employee retention bonus - every 6 months.
- Annual production bonus based on 5% of your base salary.
- Extensive Onboarding Program for all service techs including classroom based product training
- Future upskilling and training opportunities including but not limited to senior technician, account management or sales
