Requirements:
- A strong connection to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
- Provide advice across the Corporation on Aboriginal suppliers, ensuring anunderstanding of issues impacting Aboriginal business services and local programs.
- Expertise in Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Project manage and deliver a range of key events, projects and functions of strategic importance, to improve the corporations brand in the industry
- Outstanding relationship-building and time management skills are essential components for this role
- Proven experience in supplier and contractor engagement, community outreach, or related fields.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence change positively.
- Demonstrates a track record of excellence in managing relationships and time effectively.
- Flexibility to travel from time to time within Western Australia as per business requirements.
- Experience in roles requiring an in-depth understanding of Aboriginal cultural beliefs, attitudes, and protocols.
- Collaborating with internal teams to align strategies and maximise the impact of Indigenous supplier partnerships.
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in procurement and contracting in an engineering and construction environment.
- This position is pursuant of Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, the occupant of this position must be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
