job detailsThis position is responsible for managing the delivery of property and facilities services for the Southeast property portfolio, including the oversight of Property Service Provider performance in the delivery of facilities management and accommodation services under the Whole of Government Property Service Provider Arrangements. Key duties/tasks
Supporting the delivery of facility management activities to meet safety and compliance responsibilities as well as to optimise occupancy.
Assessing and ensuring delivery of preventative maintenance activities, including but not limited to building services, conducting inspections and condition assessment reports.
Strategically manage a range of project outputs, including procurement and contracts, budgeting and reporting activities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of robust frameworks, policies and guidelines owned by the Property and Security Branch.
Provide strategic advice and assistance to the Senior Executives and stakeholders based on technical expertise in one or more role specific disciplines.
Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, internal and external, to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation.
Communicate and make balanced decisions using professional judgement, evaluating available information, factoring in risks and being sensitive to the context.
Contribute to the identification, development and implementation of opportunities to improve business management practices and processes.
Provide leadership to staff, sharing learnings and supporting others to develop team capability.
