Job Description
- Working with several NSW government agencies; assess processes for procuring goods from foreign jurisdictions and related FX management processes
- Walk-through processes and interview key stakeholders to understand current procurement practices
- Facilitate workshops, cross-functional working groups and one-on-one meetings with business owners and key stakeholders
- Identify and document issues/obstacles inhibiting the state's objectives/outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve current practices
- Identify opportunities to create standardised NSW processes and cross-fertilise good practice
- Leading a Data Analyst to quantify cost saving opportunities and risk mitigation approaches
- Communicate opportunities and outline a roadmap for future state operations
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience as a Project Led or Senior Business Analyst in a Government or Financial Services context
- Ability to understand, document and identify business process improvements
- Procurement and/or finance experience favourable, but not essential
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate across a wide variety of stakeholder groups including finance, procurement, budgeting, and risk management
- Strong report writing and presentation skills

What's on Offer
