job detailsRandstad Defence is currently working with a top tier Defence company that develops and manufactures state of the art active phased array radar systems. Due to the high demand of their highlymodular and scalable product suite that is critical to many defence capabilities, they are seeking an experienced supply support officer to join their Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team.
This is a permanent full-time position based in their Canberra Office.
The candidate must be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain a security clearance or have a NV1 or Baseline Security Clearance.
About the Role
As a part of the ILS team, you will perform tasks associated with Supply Customer Account (SCA) Holder functions for management of items owned by the Commonwealth and delivered to the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
- Perform MILIS administrative functions, this includes Material Codification Catalogue (MC CAT) activities that support codification and cataloguing of supplies delivered to ADF customers.
- Perform SCA Holder functions including asset stocktaking activities in accordance with the Commonwealth SCA Manager's stocktaking plan.
- Ensure equipment issued for the purpose is not being misused and is stored safely, and is in serviceable condition.
- Ensure SCA held equipment on temporary issues is returned on time and is returned in good condition. Any defects and deficiencies with the equipment are to be reported for rectification action immediately.
- Raise movement requisition orders for freight.
- Liaise with Commonwealth representatives regarding MILIS functions.
- Submit requests for new NATO Stock Numbers (NSN) to the National Codification Bureau (NCB) using the Material Codification Catalogue (MC CAT) program.
- Maintain MILIS Global Catalogue management data for CEA associated NSNs.
- Ensure manufacturer/supplier NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) code details are correct and up to date.
Essential Skills/Knowledge
- Knowledge and experience in Defence Enterprise Resource Planning programs (i.e.MILIS / SAP)
- AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
- Understanding of DEF-AUST 1000C, Defence packaging requirements.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
