Job Description
- Assist the project team on the designs and plant equipment selections for all stages of project works
- Preparation of data sheets for mechanical equipment
- Ensuring design solutions comply with local and national codes and standards
- Prepare and manage material take-offs and requisition packages, technical evaluations, and vendor document reviews and approvals
- Provide direction for a variety of equipment types including piping and material handing equipment
- Carry out site inspections within Australia when required
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical
- Minimum 10 years of previous experience working within an engineering consultant and/or design engineering environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software and exposure to mechanical design software for Heavy Industry projects
- Site experience, advantageous
