About the Role
The Service Design Division works on process, platform, and practice solutions to address Agency priorities. The division embeds co-design and a stakeholder-view of change into our ways of working, ensuring that our designs represent the greatest value to different audiences. In line with the Participant Service Charter principles, the division drives transparency into Agency decision-making through the consistency of the processes we design, the written guidance and communication. Our primary goal of all design is to improve how participants interact with the Agency.
Requirements of the Role:
Some of the requirements of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Expertise in Journey Mapping: Proficiency in developing future-state participant journey maps. Understanding the desired participant, provider, and partner staff experiences throughout interactions with the agency over the next few years.
- Project Coordination Skills: The role involves overseeing around 27 to 28 individual initiatives within the scheme reform. Strong project coordination skills to ensure that all initiatives align with the envisioned participant journey and contribute towards the end-to-end future state.
- Business Architecture: A solid understanding of business architecture principles is necessary to ensure that all component pieces of the scheme reform projects are strategically aligned with the desired participant experience. An ability to identify gaps and ensure coherence across initiatives.
- Facilitation and Leadership: Capable of facilitating design workshops and steering project teams towards the overarching vision of the participant journey. Strong leadership skills to guide designers and project leads towards the "north star" vision.
- Collaboration and Co-designing: Some components of the reform will require co-designing with the sector. The candidate should be adept at collaborating with stakeholders to co-design solutions that align with the project's direction and the desired end-to-end journey.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively articulating the vision of the future state participant journey, guiding project teams, and collaborating with stakeholders. The candidate should be able to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
